1330 Broadway
Oakland, California
1330 Broadway is an 18-story, 315,000 square foot office tower in downtown Oakland, California. It has defined itself as one of the USA’s finest examples of International Style architectural alongside San Francisco’s One Bush Street and Manhattan’s Lever House and Seagram’s Building.
The building was recently upgraded, receiving new HVAC and Control Systems, Lobby, Elevators, and Restrooms.
Radiant ceilings (Burgess-Manning) installed in the original base building, were removed and replaced with new fancoil units which provide greater flexibility and capacity for modern tenants. The central plant (chillers, boilers, pumps) were replaced entirely, without downtime for the building or impact to tenants. A new control system (Automated Logic Controls) was also installed.
