Anderson Collection (Stanford)

Stanford, California

The Stanford Anderson gallery project consists of approximately 25,000 GSF of new construction that serves as an expansion of the existing Cantor Center for Visual Arts on the Stanford campus. The program consists primarily of new art galleries with support space for receptions and associated bathrooms, security, and the mechanical system.

An innovative low-energy dual-fan-dual-duct mechanical system with direct evaporative cooling/humidification was used to provide the required temperature and humidity conditions for the artwork. Taylor Engineers worked closely with architects to provide a clean aesthetic look in the galleries, with invisible slot diffusers that integrated with the architecture.
